Happy Birthday Gloria!  7 years old on the 20th August.  You had an exciting birthday party with many of the Room 11 girls riding a pony.  What fun!!

We have been to the Life Education van twice this week and done some pretty good learning about our bodies. Take a look at the photos.

Buddy Reading

Friday was the perfect day for reading with our buddy class, Room 2, in the sun by their new outdoor seating area.  A perfect opportunity to read to our buddies and have them read to us.  

  

Dance Time

Thank you Tama and sister Chloe for performing a Highland dance for Room 11.  We all enjoyed watching you.

Merrin School's Multicultural Dance Groups came to visit

Our school got a real treat today as we got a visit from 70 children from Merrin School. 

They came to share their multicultural dancing with us - boy they were good. 

We enjoyed every minute if their show and have lots of ideas to try for our dance performance later in the term.

Feliti came to show us the wonderful Tongan art that he had been doing with his dad.

We sung a Tongan song this week... so thought we would give it a go!
